How We Approach Every Engagement

Every engagement at Seri Pusaka begins in the same way: by listening. Before a consultation takes place, we review any documents the family has shared. After it concludes, we prepare a written summary covering the matters discussed. Before any document is drafted, we prepare the family by setting out, in plain language, what the document will do and what alternatives exist.

We do not press families toward decisions. We do not set artificial timelines. We proceed when the family is ready, and we are content to hold a matter at any stage while family members take the time they need to discuss and reflect.

Listen and prepare. We review documents shared in advance and note the questions we would wish to raise.

Consult and record. The consultation is conducted at a pace suited to the matter, and a written summary follows.

Draft and circulate. Any documents are prepared in clean form and shared for unhurried review before discussion.

Revise and finalise. Revisions are made in response to family comments, at the pace the family sets.

A measured first consultation for individuals and families considering arrangements that will affect more than one generation. The consultation includes preparation on any documents shared in advance, time for an unhurried conversation, and a written summary of the matters raised. The summary is offered in print and electronic form, and there is no expectation of further engagement once it has been delivered.

MYR 3,260 — Fixed fee, full drafting engagement

An engagement for the considered drafting of a will or wasiat document, together with any accompanying letter of wishes or supporting written declaration. Each document is prepared with attention to the family's particular circumstances, and drafts are shared in clean form for unhurried review. The engagement is paced to allow time for family discussions between drafts.

Typical Duration

A long-form programme for families considering estate arrangements across multiple generations. The programme begins with a private family conference and the preparation of a written estate map identifying each asset and the considerations that influence each pathway. Work is paced with written checkpoints at quarterly intervals, and family members are encouraged to take time between phases for discussion at their own pace.
